The Modern Educational Complex Named in Honour of Heydar Aliyev is a contemporary educational ecosystem that offers a continuous and integrated learning model from preschool through upper secondary education. At MTK, education goes beyond the transfer of knowledge. It is about shaping character, instilling values, and nurturing independent thinkers. Our core purpose is to educate responsible, respectful, capable, adaptable, and reflective learners within the Azerbaijani context, while encouraging them to embrace universal values.
The Complex began its activities on September 1, 2001, with the participation of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. Today, MTK continues this trust as a school community that remains committed to national heritage while actively applying international educational approaches and continuously evolving. Our goal is to prepare students for a balanced life, a successful career, and a responsible civic role.
The educational process at MTK is carried out in a safe and supportive environment. Alongside academic and intellectual development, we place strong emphasis on digital literacy, collaboration skills, physical well-being, and social and emotional growth. We believe that learning becomes more meaningful and sustainable when students feel valued, secure, and accepted.
The Modern Educational Complex Named in Honour of Heydar Aliyev is an active member of the international education community and confirms its commitment to global quality standards through its membership in CIS – the Council of International Schools.
