Urrego Pena Nelson Eduardo

About Me

Dr. Nelson Urrego is an internationally experienced educator and school leader from Colombia. He holds a BSc in Mathematics from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, a postgraduate degree in Educational Leadership from Harvard University, and a PhD in Pedagogical Sciences.

He began his career as a university lecturer and has since held a variety of leadership positions in international schools across Colombia, Panama, and Azerbaijan. Dr. Urrego is also an active member of the International Baccalaureate (IB) community, serving in roles related to programme coordination, assessment, and school accreditation.

He believes that alongside academic excellence, schools should foster global awareness, strong values, and lifelong learning skills.
