On February 14, the Modern Educational Complex Named in Honour of Heydar Aliyev held a literary and artistic event titled “In the Light of Poetry” dedicated to International Book Giving Day.
The event created a meaningful atmosphere that highlighted the value of literature, words, and books. Students recited selected poems, demonstrating their communication skills and stage confidence. Their ability to convey emotion to the audience once again reflected the educational and aesthetic impact of poetry.
Such initiatives foster a stronger interest in reading, support the development of literary taste, and encourage confident self-expression. At the end of the event, students were presented with books and certificates in recognition of their participation.
A generation growing with books becomes a future guided by thought and values.
