On May 16, 2026, the conference was held for the first time in Azerbaijan at the Modern Educational Complex Named in Honour of Heydar Aliyev. The event was dedicated to exploring the integration of artificial intelligence in education, the development of AI literacy, and future-oriented approaches to learning.
The conference brought together representatives of government institutions, school leaders, educators, higher education institutions, innovation centers, and local and international experts working in the field of technology. The main purpose of the event was to discuss the practical applications of artificial intelligence within the education ecosystem, promote AI literacy, and create a platform for collaboration across different sectors.
The program featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshop sessions, and an Expo Zone. Panel sessions explored topics such as the digital transformation of education systems, the implementation of AI strategies, future-ready schools, cybersecurity, and innovative educational models.
The keynote session, titled “Future-Ready Schools in the AI Era”, focused on AI literacy in education, the transformation of schools in the age of AI, the evolving role of teachers, and international perspectives on future-oriented learning approaches.
Among the conference speakers were representatives from the Bureau on ICT for Education under the Ministry of Science and Education, PASHA Holding, ASAN AI Hub, ADA University, Karabakh University, European Azerbaijan School, and other prestigious institutions.
During the workshop sessions, participants gained practical experience in the application of AI tools in education, Project-Based Learning (PBL), AI ethics, curriculum development, assessment, and future-ready skills.
At the same time, the Expo Zone featured innovation centers, companies operating in the fields of AI and STEAM, educational institutions, and technology platforms presenting their projects and solutions. The zone became an important platform for networking and creating new collaboration opportunities for participants.
