The Modern Educational Complex Named in Honour of Heydar Aliyev welcomed the new academic year with a Back to School event. This year’s opening held special significance as the Complex also marks its 25th anniversary.
The event began with remarks by Chief Executive Officer Tural Abbasov and School Principal Hilola Davlyatova. They congratulated the students on the start of the new academic year and shared their wishes for the year ahead.
During the event, the opening of the Khankendi Branch of the Modern Educational Complex Named in Honour of Heydar Aliyev was also announced. The new branch represents another chapter in the Complex’s 25-year educational journey.
The programme continued with music and dance performances, presentations by teachers, and the traditional first bell ceremony. Students, teachers, and parents came together to mark the first day of the new academic year.
One of the meaningful moments of the event involved parents writing down their wishes for their children’s future and placing them in specially prepared wish boxes.
