The first panel of the conference was dedicated to the topic “Getting Real Results: Putting AI Strategy into Action.” The session was moderated by Nigar Amrullayeva, Educational Strategies Consultant at the Modern Educational Complex Named in Honour of Heydar Aliyev.
The panel featured Laman Ibrahimova, Head of ASAN AI Hub — the open innovation platform of “ASAN service” — and Advisor to the Director at the Innovations Center under the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Ayaz Abushov, Deputy Head of the Bureau on ICT for Education under the Ministry of Science and Education; and Sona Talibova, IT & Information Security Risk Manager at PASHA Holding.
The discussion focused on the practical implementation of artificial intelligence strategies, the safe and responsible management of AI-driven solutions, digital transformation in education systems, and the development of innovation ecosystems.
During the panel, speakers shared their perspectives on the new opportunities artificial intelligence creates for educators, the development of human capital, the advancement of AI literacy, the establishment of secure digital environments, and the future changes expected within Azerbaijan’s education system. The panelists also emphasized that artificial intelligence is not only a technological tool, but also a strategic direction transforming decision-making, management, and learning processes.
