We are proud to introduce the Director of the Khankendi branch of the Modern Educational Complex Named in Honour of Heydar Aliyev. Prior to this appointment, Atabay Guliyev served as the Deputy Director for Educational Development at our Complex and has extensive experience in both educational management and teaching.
Over the last 11 years of his 17-year career, he has achieved significant results in organizing the teaching process in international education, supporting teachers’ professional development, implementing assessment systems, and strengthening parent-school relationships. He has successfully completed the “School Management and Leadership” (CSML) program offered by Harvard Business School (including school strategy and innovation management, instructional leadership, people management and leadership, and change management), as well as various trainings and courses conducted by Cambridge International Education (CIE), Microsoft, TES, and the Council of International Schools (CIS).
In addition, he has been awarded an Honorary Diploma by the Minister of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and is actively engaged in academic research. Alongside being an educational leader focused on ensuring high-quality education, Atabay Guliyev is also a devoted family man who enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and traveling.
