“5-Year-Old Victory” performance dedicated to Victory Day

MTK Hero Background

On the occasion of Victory Day – November 8, a series of meaningful events were held at the Modern Educational Complex Named in Honour of Heydar Aliyev, reflecting the deep respect, gratitude, and national pride shared by the MTK community.

As part of the commemorations, the film “Shusha, You Are Free!” was screened in classrooms. Through the film, students revisited the bravery of our heroes, the true value of victory, and the meaning of freedom. These moments strengthened feelings of pride, gratitude, and love for the homeland, reminding students that our Victory is not only a military achievement but also a symbol of unity, faith, and determination.

To mark the 5th anniversary of Victory Day, the theatrical performance “Five-Year-Old Victory” was staged at MTK. The performance was built around the dialogue between a child named Victory-born on November 8 - and his mother on his fifth birthday. Through this powerful narrative, the glorious triumph of our victorious army, the cherished memory of our martyrs, the value of freedom, and the spirit of patriotism were brought vividly to life.
The event began with a choreographed dance under the artistic direction of MTK’s choreographer Turan Abdullayev, followed by the theatrical production written and directed by Parviz Seyidli. Students, teachers, and parents came together as one community, each contributing to the success of this meaningful event.

At the conclusion of the program, MTK’s CEO Tural Abbasov addressed the audience, congratulating everyone on Victory Day and expressing his sincere gratitude to veterans, parents, performing students, and the entire MTK team.

As part of the commemorations, the leadership, teachers, and students of MTK also visited the Military Memorial Cemetery, honoring the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the freedom and territorial integrity of our homeland. Carnations were laid at the graves of the martyrs as a sign of deep respect and remembrance.

Victory Day was also celebrated by our Preschool Division, where young learners presented a special performance depicting Azerbaijani families and soldiers during the war and the joy of Victory. Their poems, songs, and stage performances reflected unity and pride, proving that the spirit of Victory already lives in the smallest hearts and continues to shape our future.

Victory Day is not only a date in history - it is a symbol of our freedom, unity, and national strength.
Happy Victory Day!
